Polly is a sweet 15.1hh piebald cob mare with a kind, gentle nature and many years of experience with children. Polly came to us without a passport or microchip so we are unsure what her actual age is, however, vets have estimated a minimum age of 17 but suspect she is much older. Due to this, Polly is now semi-retired and enjoys a quieter life, but still plays a very special role in the riding school.

Polly is exceptionally calm and steady, making her the perfect partner for complete beginners. She excels in teaching riders how to mount, dismount, and take their very first steps in walk, offering a safe and reassuring introduction to riding. Her unflappable temperament and slow, relaxed pace help even the most nervous riders feel at ease.

Now enjoying lighter duties, Polly is happiest helping new riders build confidence in a calm and supportive environment. Her kind heart and dependable nature make her a much-loved and trusted school horse, who always looks after her riders.
