As a BHS Approved riding centre offering horse riding lessons in York, we provide private, bespoke sessions designed to support individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Each lesson is carefully tailored to the rider’s needs, abilities, confidence levels, and personal goals, creating a calm, structured, and positive learning experience.

Our qualified, SEN-trained instructors use patient and adaptable teaching methods to help riders develop balance, coordination, communication, and self-esteem, while building a strong and trusting relationship with the horse. Based near Bubwith, our riding school is easily accessible from York and Selby, offering a safe and supportive environment with well-trained horses suited to all abilities.
